Temple Square

After my family party we went to SLC to meet up with Jay's family. Our kids have never been to Temple Square at Christmas. They loved all the lights and the nativity. They were so excited about the snow (very rare in St. George) that they kept running through it. They only had tennis shoes on so their feet were soaked by the time we actually got to the temple, but they didn't care. Their favorite part was riding the tram from the hotel to the Temple. Even though it was freezing they loved every minute of it. The next morning we got up and went to the Spoken Word. Jay's mom stayed at the hotel with Easton and BrynLee. When we got their they told us Clayton was too young to sit in the conference area, so me and Clayton got to sit in the media area. If we would have known they had that area for little kids we could have brought the younger 2. It was very neat to watch the Spoken Word in person. If you have never been to a live one you definately need to go. I am so glad that we had the opportunity to go and grateful that my in-laws started this tradition.
